On a cold & wet Thursday in January Andalucian Auctions SL opened their doors for the first time & hoped people would come to the first Auction held in Campillos.  The warehouse floor was full of allsorts from bric a brac to three piece suites ready to be sold.  Within the first few hours the customers arrived & registered for their bid numbers & started looking round the Lots.  With numerous items to choose from the excitement started to be felt round the floor.  During the next 2 hours of the auction everything was sold.  Everything from a pair of settees were sold for just €7, tables, disco balls & even a  waterbed for a euro!  Jewellery bargains were had, computers, lights & so much more.  The warehouse was completely emptied but within another three days it was virtually full again from people wanting their items sold that they were almost ready for the following auction & the worry was not if people would come but how to fit everything in!  So Andalucian Auctions was finally a reality.

Within the last 4 months the Auction house has run away with its owners Claire Marriott & Diane Green growing from strength to strength.  The girls have found a niche in the market which stemmed from neither of them knowing what to do with furniture they no longer wanted.  In the UK it was the norm to take furniture to a charity shop of second hand shop but being inland from the coast the situation arose where both Diane & Claire thought they’d see if they couldn’t sell it themselves.  Now the company has expanded into household clearance & removals service, they buy & sell anything & everything, as their licence permits as long as “it’s moveable & not alive”!

They have succeeded in signing as authorised distributors for large companies such as Econoheat selling their outstanding slim line panel heaters, buying through a recognized dealer is the only way you can validate your guarantee with these products.  Recently the company as also succeeded in becoming the new authorized distributor for JML products, as seen on television.  With the new acquisition of the JML contract they are actively launching an advertising campaign in the new future & looking for outlets to sell the amazing products to the public, so if you have a shop, market stall or just want one of JML’s products yourself contact the girls at Andalucian Auctions, true to their word of wanting to always bring the best bargain to the public even the price of the JML products less than you’d pay in the UK!

All the jewellery they sell is checked for authenticity, especially the gems so you know exactly what you are buying, sizes are checked, hallmarks verified & still the items are sold at bargain prices & going down a storm with both ladies & gents.  One lady at the last Auction bought a brand new diamond half eternity ring for €170 & had it valued in the UK for £300, so yet another very happy customer.

Natural unfinished pine furniture is another line the Auction offers its customers.  Items can be stained & varnished at very competitive prices too.  If you are after something specific just contact Diane & Claire & they try & source it for you.

Many customers have come back each month, normally to buy but Claire & Diane appreciate all their customers even those that just come for a night out & hopefully a good time is had by all!  Some people have commented that it’s such a laugh, opportunity to have someone make you a brew & have a bar of chocolate & a chat & a good night out, people are traveling from as far as Granada for the night out & all the staff at Andalucian Auctions are so grateful for the support shown so far.
