Continuing to try & offer the complete package to our customers we are proud to announce that an established Interpreter (references available) has become part of the team.  Eve Russen will be based in our Auction House & is "overly" qualified to help with any Spanish translations with & in confidence.

 With Eve's background in consultancy, accountancy, law & most recently estate agents on the Coast she has embarked on a new venture of Property Management & other services.  Offering everything from managing the rental of a property to find you the ideal place to live, Eve has both English & Spanish teams working with her to provide a complete 100% service of maintenance from checking a property is secure whilst you are away to providing a through professional clean after guests have stayed.  Eve offers services for long term rentals or short team/holiday lets whilst also able to arrange, professional builders & other tradesmen she truly can cross the language barrier with ease.

As with everything we try & achieve at Andalucian Auctions of offering a service with a smile & as cheap as possible, Eve too believes in value for money, so for as little as €10 per hour you can cut bureaucratic red tape easily without the stress & inflated costs you may otherwise face.  So if you need a letter written or contract drawn up, a medical appointment or visit to the Town Hall or any other advice regarding living in Spain contact Eve directly on 649 349 195 or email  eve@andalucianauctions.com

As of the 1st July Brit Bits, the British grocery shop currently in Campillos, will be moving to the Industrial Estate to share our Auction House premises.

This will enable us to have the Auction House open for longer hours allowing you access to the second hand element of our business whilst stocking up on all your groceries.

The opening hours to the Auctions & Brit Bits will be as follows:

Monday 10 - 2pm

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10 - 2pm & 4 - 6pm

Friday 10 - 2pm & 4 - 8pm

Saturday 10 - 2pm (The Showroom is open all day for viewing on Auction Saturdays)

As of the 5th May 2008 we will now be open at the Auction House on Monday's between 10 -2 pm.  Hopefully this will assist customers in extra viewing times & also help with collections after an Auction.  Our usual opening hours of Thursday - Saturday 10 - 2pm remain unchanged.  Please note that we are closed for all National & Local holidays.

We have received confirmation that 2% will be charged for all Credit & Debit card payment that we take from customers.  We are sorry to have to announce this news but please do bear this extra charge in mind when purchasing from us.

This charge will be effective as of the 2nd May 2008.

The bank have passed a new 3% surcharge for use of a Debit or Credit Card at the Auctions, we are currently in discussions with them to hopefully be able to lower this to only 1%, we'll keep you informed.  This surcharge will come into effect as of the 2nd of May, please consider this when purchasing your items.

Coming very soon you will be able to place Proxy bids or even purchase items straight off our website.  We are looking into allowing customers to place Classified adverts alongside our auction items as the success of our Items Wanted Wish List has been fantastic.

Within the next few weeks our online JML shop will be up & running, this is a huge development for us as it will allow JML products to be bought & sent to customers throughout southern Spain - keep checking for further details.

We are proud to announce that as of our 9th February Auction not only will our Listings Catalogue be available in Spanish but we will also be announcing the Lots & figures at our Auctions in both English & Spanish.

Charity for the coming year
We have chosen to support the wonderful charity of Cudeca this year.

Cudeca is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) and non profit making, depending on the support of the community for its finances. 

The principal objectives of Cudeca are:

• To offer "specialised palliative care" to patients suffering from terminal cancer and also to support the family during the illness and in the bereavement process.
  
  
• To form a programme of Study, Training, Investigation and Awareness of Palliative Care.

Sadly most of us have been affected in one way or another from cancer or we all know someone close to us who has witnessed what effect this cruel disease can have on their nearest & dearest, so to support the excellent work & continued care the volunteers offer through Cudeca is one of the main driving forces behind our choice of Charity for the coming 12 months.
