We have been lucky enough to have Jo volunteer to help run the popular Cudeca Second Hand Clothes Shop.  The shop is now located in the lower Auction house & carries a huge range of newly new & new clothing for all ages, shapes & sizes.

If you have any unwanted, good condition clothes, shoes or accessories you would like to donate please bring them to the Auction House during our usual Opening Hours.  We are also desperate for any clothes rails & coat hangers you no longer need.

Finally the date has been set for the busy auction house to relocate.  Luckily they have secured a warehouse which is double the size they have been in for over 2 years.  With the move many changes are coming, including the expansion of the popular Brit Bits English shop which has always prided itself on offering a wide range of goods at cheap prices.

With the addition of the new café you’ll be able to grab a bacon sandwich or even a burger during your visit.  With a full selection of home baked goodies there’s always going to be something to take your fancy with a cup of tea.  Especially useful if you want to keep up with the sport during a Saturday Auction is the much welcomed news of the English television being installed!

Of course with the expansion of the auction comes a greater selection of items in their secondhand shop meaning that there is no need to wait until an item is placed for auction you can always pop along & buy before.  A new focus is being placed on helping others within the community sell their wares, the biggest change will be the fortnightly market, this will be held on the same day as the auction, offering a wide range of goods from DVDs to natural soap, there are still a few stalls left if you are interested in booking please email claire@andalucianauctions.com  Also available will be commissioned works including jewellery, paintings & other similar items that are not destined for auction.

The range of new items currently on sale is also being expanded, again the principle thought of giving the public a bargain can been seen here too, you can get everything from toasters to tents, socks to dinner sets!  Other improvements include the popular bookshop; all second hand books remain at only €1 each, there will be a much wider selection once the move has taken place.  Remaining a Bookworld outlet you will still be able to pick up all the new bestsellers too.

The Cudeca concession clothing shop has been a roaring success since it started only 6 months ago & will continue to offer customers huge savings on clothes, shoes & accessories.  The money raised has been gratefully received by the charity & hopefully customers will continue to support this worthy cause.

The goal at the Auction house has always been to offer as many services as possible to the public all under one roof whilst remaining affordable to all pockets.  So hand in hand with furniture has grown the estate agency & property management side of the business, newly licensed to offer a whole new concept on a full range of services from rentals, commercials, holiday lets plus buying & selling.  With their unique twist given to how they run their business, the auction house will be shaking up the property market with a dynamic new way of resales which will be announced within the next two months.

We are also pleased to announce that they are one of our Official Advertising Agents, therefore if you wish to place any advertising with Local Connections please do not hesitate to go & see the staff at the Auction to discuss your advertising needs further.  Why not take advantage of the classified offers they have which includes placement on the Auction notice boards & website aswell as a listing in our magazine.

In these times of uncertainty it is refreshing to hear of a business which is moving with the times & expanding, the way Andalucian Auctions manage to constantly listen to their customers needs & act upon them is something they pride themselves on.  Always trying to bring you a bargain be it a tin of soup or second hand furniture their prices are also hard to beat, with a friendly smile the staff are only too happy to help.

We have now been given the green light on our new premises.  We will be remaining on the same industrial park, taking over the double unit that Las Palomas (Vet) currently occupy.  The front warehouse will be the main entrance for the cafe, English shop & other items.

A Saturday market will also be held here whenever an Auction is on, if you would require a stall please contact us ASAP as spaces will be limited email claire@andalucianauctions.com  (8 left)

For items being collected or delivered please note that the back entrance of the Auction house must be used. 

We will be open for business at the new premises from the 1st March.  Any items for Auction after the 23rd of February must be taken to the new address; this includes any donated clothes for Cudeca.

How to find us, from our old Auction House continue to drive up Calle Manuel Enriques, take the second on your left to the road running parallel with the garden area, we are situated in the 7^th warehouse (No 6) on your right.  For deliveries & collections please continue to the 3^rd turning on your left & again we are situated in the 7^th warehouse (No 16) on your left.

We have finally secured new much larger premises.  We will be open for business in our new location as of the 2^nd March.  We are relocating within Campillos; details of the address will be available on the site soon.  Any items being entered into our Auction House after the 17^th February will have to be taken to the new address ready for Auctions in March. 

The Brit Bits English Shop will be self contained with an additional café & TV area, to allow you to catch up on the Saturday sport!  Please keep checking for regular updates

As of the 29th July we have managed to raise €135.22 for Cudeca, they are incredibly gratefully & would like us to pass our thanks on to all who have taken part in our raffles & donated through the first half of the year.

We have received confirmation that 2% will be charged for all Credit & Debit card payment that we take from customers.  We are sorry to have to announce this news but please do bear this extra charge in mind when purchasing from us.

This charge will be effective as of the 2nd May 2008.

Charity for the coming year
We have chosen to support the wonderful charity of Cudeca this year.

Cudeca is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) and non profit making, depending on the support of the community for its finances. 

The principal objectives of Cudeca are:

• To offer "specialised palliative care" to patients suffering from terminal cancer and also to support the family during the illness and in the bereavement process.
  
  
• To form a programme of Study, Training, Investigation and Awareness of Palliative Care.

Sadly most of us have been affected in one way or another from cancer or we all know someone close to us who has witnessed what effect this cruel disease can have on their nearest & dearest, so to support the excellent work & continued care the volunteers offer through Cudeca is one of the main driving forces behind our choice of Charity for the coming 12 months.
